In our experience it takes an average of 12 months from engaging an adviser to signing and completing the deal.  We have completed deals in shorter time frames than this but we will never rush things. Rushing unnecessarily will only end up costing the deal in some shape or form - and ultimately we want to ensure that we protect the maximum value we are achieving.
